Software Developer - Drupal On behalf of our client in the Government Services Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Software Developer - Drupal
Software Developer - Drupal –

• Conduct testing and quality assurance
• Design, develop, code, configure, and integrate software applications
• Work closely with project team members during the development lifecycle to document, verify, and confirm requirements, design solutions, and perform defect analysis
• We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with expertise in Drupal to join our team
• Perform software version upgrades (Drupal, Elasticsearch, etc.) and troubleshooting
• Support application deployments, prepare code release deployment packages, and integrate with DevOps pipelines
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and provide accurate estimates, solution options analysis & assessment, and proof of concepts
• Perform performance tuning, defect/issue investigation, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, impact assessment, and provide recommendations for fixing problems
• This position is hybrid, requiring the candidate to work on-site for a minimum of 3 days per week at our Toronto, Ontario location
• Obtain client or tech lead approval for solution design and code release changes for assigned components
• Problem-solve to identify root causes and provide options/solutions for complex data/system or application & integration requirements
• The successful candidate will be responsible for translating requirements into working, tested applications and solutions in an Agile delivery methodology

Software Developer - Drupal – Mandatory Skills

• Knowledge and experience with implementing solutions with Postgres and other relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL)
• Experience in web development and design (5+ years)
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Drupal administration and version upgrades
• Experience in Scrum Agile delivery and Agile methodologies for the development, design, implementation, and maintenance of applications
• Expert knowledge and 5+ years of experience with Drupal 9+, PHP, Symfony, and Twig framework
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and collaboration skills, and a proven track record for meeting strict deadlines
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and investigative skills, with the ability to make recommendations to fix problems
• Experience with React, API, REST, JSON, Python Script or Java, Elasticsearch implementation, and API
• Experience with CI/CD Pipeline Integration, Git, Docker, Azure DevOps (VSTS/TFS), testing automation, and cloud platforms (Azure, Amazon)
• Strong learning capability and ability to grasp new technology demanded by projects
