We are proudly partnering with the lead provider of forensic rehabilitation treatment service across Victoria Australia and are currently looking for clinicians who are passionate about starting or growing their career in this field.
Role
The role works with service users who are predominantly sexual / violent offenders currently in custody across Melbourne’s prison system and will involve

• Assessment of suitable and available treatment and programs
• Screening participants for the program
• Treatment programs for service user including 1 on 1 and running group sessions.

This is not a case management position, and doesn’t have a set “caseload”, your week will be flexibly structured while giving you exposure to working across a variety of interventions in the rehabilitation life cycle. If you enjoy a mix of assessment and therapeutic practice this role may be for you.
To be successful, you will need to be a Social Worker eligible for full Australian Association of Social Workers registration, and 2 years post graduate experience in any social work field. You will not be required to obtain your AASW registration until an offer is made, but you will need to be eligible. Your initial training will be phenomenal, and you will have extensive support and professional development provided.
Starting salary is $91,000 + super but can be assessed based on experience up to $95,000 + super. You will also be provided with sponsorship and a relocation package to assist with the move. A full driver's licence is required, and the role will require someone flexibility to travel across various sites, a car is provided.
