Job description

We are currently looking for a:

Registered Social Worker (MSW) - Therapist

• Evening and/or weekend availability is an asset
• Couples experience preferred

As an independent clinical contactor at Reclaim & Rise Counselling, we can offer you:

Applicants:

• Be registered in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
• Hold a genuine passion for helping clients reclaim their mental wellbeing; personal power; health; relationships etc. and rise to live their best life.
• Posses strong clinical skills; ability to keep proper process notes and service/treatment plans.
• Lived experience considered a strong asset.
• Desire to collaborate and stretch their creative sides in building or offering groups, community building activities or presentations, workshops etc.
• Own a personal computer and posses strong computer literacy skills.
• Have a good sense of humour and ability to see opportunity in all challenges.
• Ability to thrive working independently.
• Be interested in working collaboratively.
• Have a strong belief in human resilience.
• The ideal candidate would have extensive training in/experience working withone or moreof the following (but not limited to): Trauma; EMDR; PTSD; Child and adolescent therapy; Childhood trauma; Couples therapy; Emotion Focused Therapy; Gottman Method; Anxiety; CBT; DBT; Self-esteem; Body image; Eating Disorders; Solution Focused Therapy.
• Strong time management skills
• Be looking to settle into a long-term position and grow with a wonderful group of likeminded clinicians.
• Flexibility in their hours of availability preferred;evenings and weekends are an asset.
• Have a Masters of Social Work degree (MSW)
• Hold professional liability insurance (min. $5,000,000).
• Have a minimum of 3+ years clinical experience.
• Have engaged in their own personal therapy and healing.

Extra:

We are looking for a clinician who can providein-person servicesat our office in Stratford or Shakespeare, with flexibility to see clients remotely when needed.
