A Skilled Labourer must be able to lift and carry heavy objects repeatedly and for prolonged periods of time.JOIN FOR THE JOB, STAY FOR THE BENEFITSCompetitive WagesExciting Career Progression PathsMaking a difference in our communitiesHOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE (RESPONSIBILITIES)Perform tasks involving physical labour at construction sitesWide experience in a variety of types of physical labourRobust physical stamina for performing strenuous and repetitive tasksClean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations and general cleanup of debris and other waste materialsSignal heavy equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materialsRead plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activitiesLoad, unload or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations according to project plans or specificationsMeasure, mark or record openings or distances to areas where construction work will be performedProvides assistance to other craft workersWork in adherence to Occupational Health and Safety legislationOther duties may be assigned as requiredDO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES? (REQUIREMENTS)Asset if has valid CSTS, H2S, and First Aid & CPR certificationsGeneral knowledge of raking, shoveling, housekeeping, etc.Knowledge of the safe operation of basic hand and power toolsKnowledge of workplace safety policies and procedures including safe lifting and handlingEffective verbal and listening communication skillsDemonstrate sound work ethicsPhysically able to perform job dutiesAbility to pass Drug, Alcohol and 75lb Fitness to work testWHO WE ARESince 2004, our mission has been to be the best in every industry we operate in, including road building, temporary access solutions, and drainage solutions for mining.
