The Site Scheduler role is not a hybrid/remote position and requires the employee to be working onsite.

 Responsibilities

• Performs other related duties as required.
• Inputs shift changes to schedules that have been made during work hours in the Comvida/EMS system.
• Provides a daily hand over report to After Hours Central Scheduler
• Arranges team member schedules for those who call in and are unable to make their shift due to sickness, family matters or for other legitimate reasons.
• Allocates and calls in relief staff to fill vacancies resulting from unfilled positions, vacations, leave of absence, sick leave, in accordance with company policy or as per a governing collective agreement.

Qualifications And Experience

• Demonstrated knowledge of general Human Resource functions
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications is required.
• Pleasant but confident telephone manner
• Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with Scheduling in a Health Care environment.
• Working knowledge of Comvida /EMS.
• Knowledge of Labour Standards/Employment Standards, and Union contracts an asset.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years’ work experience in a scheduling role.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work in stressful situations and must be able to have creative problem-solving skills.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving functions.

Conditions of Employment
