Position – Site Project Coordinator
Below is a list of essential functions and responsibilities expected of individuals hired for the role of “Site Project Coordinator”. Although this list attempts to outline all required responsibilities and duties, it should be understood that each project is unique and poses different situations and challenges that may require additional duties / tasks to be performed by the Site Project Coordinator.
1. Assist the Project Manager where applicable, in the day-to-day duties of a project’s administration.
2. Working closely under the guidance and direction of the Site Project Manager.
3. Manage the site office trailer to include initial set-up, safety documentation and boards, maintenance, cleaning, equipment, and supplies.
4. Thorough understanding of
Health and Safety policies including posting of required documentation within the site trailer and throughout the construction site. Take part in weekly safety meetings together with the project manager and site superintended as required.
5. Prepare a variety of documents including majority of site-specific correspondence. Maintain/set up job specific filing systems including drawings, site instructions, CCN’s, RFI’s, Submittals and other critical correspondence. Understanding of the project specific server filing system.
6. Understanding and reviewing the project drawings and specifications in order to provide clear and coordinated interpretations and direction during construction.
7. Review of trade derived requests for additional information and creation of RFI’s (Request for Information) to be submitted to the project consultants.
8. Assist in evaluation and solution of potential field problems, referring them to PM.
9. Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work as required.
10. With the guidance of the project manager and site superintendent, research and recommend solutions to design document problems, including conflicts, interferences, errors/omissions and RFI’s.
11. Act as liaison with subcontractors in expediting drawings and related project information including RFI’s, Submittals, etc.
12. Coordinate receipt and processing of submittals from subtrades and/or vendors to include preparing for PM’s approval, architect’s review, preparing logs and returning to originator.
13. Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs (RFI, Submittal, Vendor/Subcontractor, Purchase Order, etc.), track responses and advise the Project Manager and Superintendent of the status of the aforementioned as needed to maintain the proper flow of information.
14. Review and understanding of all SI’s and CCN’s and assist the project manager with obtaining quotations for any changes in scope as a result of the aforementioned.
15. Monitor field work, including contract work, to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, drawings, specifications and codes.
16. Participate in the continuous updating and accurate generation of as-built documents.
17. Attend project coordination and subcontractor / consultant meetings as requested or required including but not limited to the taking and distribution of meeting minutes.
18. Review project progress weekly and generate “Weekly Status Reports” for submission to various project specific parties. Coordinate periodic job-related photographs for inclusion with the weekly reports as well as filing within the server.
19. Conduct quality control activities in accordance with instructions, inspection programs, using specified control measuring and testing equipment (where applicable). Preparation of trade specific deficiency lists / reports including tracking of completion according to approval of the PM and/or Site Supervisor.
20. Compilation and preparation of project “Operating and Maintenance Manuals” as per company’s formatting and procedure for submission to the Architect.
21. Perform additional assignments and responsibilities as assumed or requested by supervision.
22. Compile and prepare various reports for supervisor’s use (requires analysis and comparison of data).
Location - Windsor, ON

Travel Reimbursement
Salary - $20-22/hour depending on experience
Hours - 7:30-5:30pm depending on the site and the day (otherwise a little flexible hours)
