Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary Shipper Receiver to work full-time hours for our client in Burlington, ON. Get your foot in the door with this client, who values growth for its employees and has a friendly working environment.

• Availability Required: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
• Pay rate: $20/hour
• Job type: Temporary | Full-time
• Location: Burlington, ON

Responsibilities:

• Participate in regular cycle counts and annual inventory
• Maintaining a high level of customer service
• Processing orders, inquiries & quotations
• Putting away counter and warehouse stock
• Directly servicing the customer via phone & counter sales
• Confirming stock availability and suggesting alternatives
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Adhere to established Health & Safety procedures and practices
• Picking, receiving, and shipping duties when required

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience is required, and retail experience would be an asset
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Computer literacy
• Product knowledge of the electrical business
• Ability to comfortably interact with customers with good English language skills
• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
