Pay Rate
The pay rate for this job is $18 - $20 / hour
What You'll Be Doing As a Shipper

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to safely transport and organize products within the warehouse.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to verify accuracy and prevent damage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company policies and safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with the production team to facilitate timely fulfillment of orders and communicate any discrepancies or delays.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare metal products for shipping according to customer orders.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure proper documentation, labeling, and packaging to comply with company and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

• Background check required
• Forklift Certificate
• Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, preferably in the metal manufacturing industry.
• Basic computer skills for data entry, inventory management, and shipment tracking.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant industry certification is a plus.
• Flexible availability, including the ability to work weekends and overtime as needed
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment; valid certification is an asset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
