Junior Shipper Jobs

Good knowledge of french and English.

Experience in shipping a must.

Basic knowledge of various programs such as Excel, Outlook.

Prepare and print invoices and shipping labels.

Collect and verify that all items and goods are included in the shipment.

Prepare shipments and shipping labels for transport companies.

Must have a Forklift License (Counterbalance) and experience of 2 years

1 year experience working as a shipper receiver - loading and unloading trucks

Receive and unload products and match them for accuracy against bill of ladings, packing lists or invoices.

Comfortable with sending and receiving emails.

Recording daily shipment logs at the end of each day

Ability to lift stand and bend for the entire shift

Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS)

Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Must have 6+ months of prior warehouse experience, Shipping department a plus

Must have basic computer skills

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge of customs requirements and HS codes

2+ years of warehouse experience

2+ years of shipping experience

Forklift/Reach truck certification is required

Knowledge of FedEx and Ups systems i.e., Connectship

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal

Knowledge of shipping standards, writing waybills and customs paperwork

Good math skills and computer competent

Ability to manage simple and complex projects under tight deadlines

Ability to multi-task and move efficiently between different responsibilities

Opportunity for permanent hire upon completion of required hours
