Pharmacy Manager Jobs

The candidate will be responsible for:
Regulatory Affairs:
- Fulfilling Federal, Provincial, and ACP practice requirements of a licensee
- Ensuring compliance with organization's policies and procedures
- Developing current policies to adapt to change in practice
Operations:
- Ensuring accurate and timely dispensing of medications
- Managing prescription and front store inventory
- Engaging with patients to strengthen brand loyalty through excellent customer service and strong clinical relationships
- Collaborating with local physicians to grow partnership
- Developing strong community ties and engagement
Human Resource Management:
- Supervising and leading staff clinical and dispensary activities
- Developing a strong patient-focused pharmacy team with an emphasis on clinical expertise
- Managing staff performance
- Scheduling and forecasting staff based on business needs
Finances:
- Being accountable for the financial and operational success of the department
- Reviewing budgeted sales, key performance indicators and implementing strategic plans for success
- Identifying and reporting potential growth opportunities
- Controlling costs and finding workflow efficiencies
A strong candidate will have:
- 5 years of experience as a pharmacist; or previous experience as a pharmacy manager; and must be in good standing with ACP
- Advanced Prescribing Authority & Injection Certification
- Certified clinical designation with track record of growing their clinical practice in previous employment
- Excellent customer service skills and strong community involvement
- Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Kroll digital workflow, PrescribeIT, and Netcare RTI
