Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Clinical services Manager located in Edmonton, AB. The Clinical Pharmacy Manager is responsible for clinical services performace in the dispensary and in the pharmacist-led clinic. They will engage in day-to-day duties of ensuring medication appropriateness, effectiveness, and safety. Other duties include therapy recommendation, assessing and prescribing, immunization, and travel consult.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills
• APA and certification to inject
• Experience with pharmacy practice and hospital pharmacy management
• Ability to mentor and develop the pharmacy team while also meeting client needs
• Above average communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Experience in managing a pharmacy practice or a team of pharmacy professionals is an asset
• Excellent knowledge of medicine, drug interactions, and patient safety
• Extensive knowledge of formularies for medications, prescription drugs, and dispensing practices
