Shift Engineer – Waterloo, London - Commercial Building - Continental Shift - Lots of Overtime available - Up to £34,000

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based in London. CBW is currently recruiting for a Shift Maintenance Engineer to be based in a commercial building situated near Waterloo, London. The successful candidate will be a qualified Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance engineer with a proven track record in commercial/property building maintenance. He or she will be required to carry out M&E/Fabric planned and reactive maintenance across this static site. Working with the maintenance team on site. He or she will be required to have an understanding/hands-on experience of the below.

In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £34,000, further training and overtime.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Changing Ballast
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Control Panels
• Effective servicing, fault diagnosis & repair work of HVAC equipment to current standards.
• Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
• Responsible for diagnosing and rectifying mechanical & electrical plant faults, ensuring all statutory requirements are maintained.
• Maintain and update Log books
• Emergency lighting tests
• Complete fault finding & repair of a range of electrical & mechanical plants & equipment.
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
• Pumps, motors
• Water Treatment
• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)

Hours of work

• 4 on, 4 off - Days & Nights - 08:00 - 20:00 / 20:00 - 08:00

Requirements

• Good communication skills
• Electrically or mechanically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• City & Guilds - 17th or 18th Edition
• Multi-skilled
• Client Facing
• 1x Mechanical Shift Engineer
• 1x Electrical Shift Engineer
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
