Position Description
The Department of Computer Science, within the Faculty of Science, invites applications for a Fall 2023 term Sessional Instructor.
The successful candidate will have responsibilities for instruction and associated duties for this 3-unit course during the Fall 2023 Term, including the supervision and direction of teaching assistants who instruct the tutorial sections.
CPSC 441 - Computer Networks
Principles and practice in modern telecommunications, computer communications and networks. Layered communication protocols and current physical, data link, network and Internet protocol layers. Circuit switching, packet switching, and an introduction to broadband multimedia networking.
Fall 2023 Term Dates: Monday, August 28, 2023 – Friday, December 22, 2023
Teaching Schedule: Lecture 01 is MWF 10:00-10:50
Delivery Mode(s): All course components will be delivered in person.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have a minimum of an MSc in Computer Science or a closely related discipline with a PhD preferred. Preference will be given to graduate students and postdocs in our program looking to obtain teaching experience, followed by applicants with a postgraduate degree.
