Service Truck Operator - Cranbrook, BC
What’s the role?
Reporting to the Store Manager, the Service Truck Operator is responsible for responding to highway and after-hour calls on a rotational basis. They drive a KalTire road service vehicle fitted with all the necessary tools and equipment to provide excellent service to our customers by performing front shop service, off-site fleet service and roadside assistance.
This role is for the Kal Tire store located at 1396 THEATRE RD CRANBROOK BC V1C 7G1
Hours

• Over 40 hrs per week
• $23.54-$28.84, per hour, experience dependant
• Full Time, permanent position
• On call after 5pm weekdays and weekend on rotational basis

What kind of person are we looking for?

• You are comfortable and reliable working independently.
• You’re interested in the automotive industry and like working within a high energy, fast paced team environment.
• You have the ability to access Teck/ Elk Valley Resources property.
• You have a valid drivers licence and a clean drivers abstract
• You have a strong mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve on the spot.
• You like being active throughout your day and have no problem lifting 30-50 lb tires around as needed.
• You’re always safety conscious, wear your required PPE and follow safe work protocols as instructed.
• You are comfortable driving and working at night as needed.
• You have at least 1 year of roadside service/ tire technician experience (preferred)
