Cascadia Metals Delta is looking to hire a Crane/Forklift Operator.

Skills

Responsibilities

• Follow the detailed inventory list to prepare production lines.
• Safely assess workplace hazards to determine a safe path to transport loads, ensuring all workers are aware of cranes approaching.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with other team members.
• Using an overhead crane to move steel products in and around the warehouse, on/off trucks.
• Perform pre-operational inspections.
• Perform general warehouse duties where required and as instructed.
• Operate remote control overhead crane safely, and efficiently.
• Organize and maintain inventory using the first in first out inventory method.
• O Training is provided in-house.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is preferred but not a necessity.
• O Loads up to 22 tons (44000 lbs.)
• Prepare and package steel parts for both production and distribution.
• Use of ERP system (Steel Plus)

Requirements

• Must be reliable and punctual
• Have a valid forklift license (Preferred)
• Able to read orders and complete basic paperwork
• Applicants must have steel-toe boots

Hours of Work

Mon-Thurs: 3:30 pm to 2:00 am.
