Job description:
The Senior Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining the supply chain and logistics for Worksport Ltd. line of renewable energy products all over the world. In addition, the supply chain specialist must maintain good relations with candidate and established business partners.
Further, the supply chain specialist must have the initiative to reach out and to work closely with engineers. For that purpose, personal organization, professional organization and clear communication are extremely important.
The candidate must be comfortable with the current challenges offered by the global semiconductors shortage, and find ways to overcome them.

·Flexibility to work extended hours as required.
Education / Experience
·Have a post-secondary degree in Business Commerce, Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or relevant courses.
·Working experience with ERP, preferablyNetSuite.
·Advanced abilities with Microsoft office.
·Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes.
·Understanding and communicating information from technical drawings to a supplier.
Specific responsibilities (Suppliers):
·Identify and maintain a list of current and alternate domestic and international vendors for various materials, equipment or supplies.
·Evaluate and try to minimize suppliers based on price, logistics, and volume.
·Communicate with suppliers and vendors, including negotiating purchase contracts.
·Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)including reviewing and processing claims against suppliers.
·Eventual travel to meet candidate and current suppliers.
Specific responsibilities (Reporting and Duties):
·Evaluate and report on KPIs.
· Input data and perform analysis of purchasing and inventory on NetSuite,
· Evaluate cost and quality of goods or services.
· Supply Chain Inventory and records
·Work with other departments to:
· Assist in preparation of Request for Information or Request for Quotation.
· Ensure Accounts Payable invoice aligns with outgoing payment.
· Analyze shipping and delivering data to find bottlenecks and other issues.
·Engage in continuous learning and update of the Netsuite package to optimize RFQ tools.
