CARMA is looking for a highly motivated software professional to join our team to support; improvements to existing applications, design and architecting the next generation of data intensive applications, participate in the design and development of future products.The team’s primary focus is in the management of information of all aspects of utility sub-metering.
This is a full-time position, reporting to the Director of IT and DevOps.In our company you will be participating in all aspects of development activities throughout the life cycle of utilities metering.On occasion, you will provide support for customers and sales team members.You will clearly demonstrate your ability to complete software development work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate with an energetic and enthusiastic team.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Required:
·Formal software or technology education (preference to bachelor’s degree in computing or software engineering from a recognized Canadian university)
·Relevant workforce experience (+7 years preferred)
·C#, MS-SQL, Python, Javascript, HTML, Angular
·Microservice Application Development
·Building/Supporting Data Intensive Applications
·Machine Learning and Artificial intelligence
·TCP/IP networking/configuration, FTP, general IP stack knowledge
·Version Control and Collaborative programming (Git, Azure DevOps)
