As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at Browse AI, your primary role will be to identify risks within the software platform and mitigate them using automated tests and monitoring tools. You'll use your proficiency in end-to-end testing to manage errors, track changes, and oversee customer-reported bugs. Prior to any updates, your rigorous validation of all test cases will be instrumental in preserving the quality of the products. Responsibilities

• Adopt and stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product manager to ensure product features align with set acceptance criteria and design specifications.
• 3+ years of experience as a QA engineer, with a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive test plans to ensure the software meets its requirements.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably JavaScript.
• Proficiency in creating and managing end-to-end tests using automation tools like Cypress.
• Good level of API testing knowledge, with experience using tools such as Postman.
• Execute thorough regression testing following bug resolutions, ensuring all fixes are effective and do not induce other issues.
• Strong communication skills, with an enthusiasm for learning new technologies and an ability to identify product edge cases.
• A quality-first mindset backed by a firm understanding of the test pyramid.
• Work effectively in an agile/scrum development process, providing valuable input and proactively addressing potential setbacks.
• Detect software bugs, maintain rigorous records of testing procedures, and document these issues in a structured and concise manner.

Bonus points

• Proficiency in web application performance profiling and optimization.
• Experience with no-code test automation tools such as Reflect or Datadog's e2e testing automation.
• Experience using analytics and error monitoring tools, such as Datadog.
• An understanding of UX principles and a mindset towards improving the user experience of a SaaS platform.
• Familiarity with web applications, network tools tab on the browser, and website performance optimization.
