Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers to promote early testing and integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Analyze and interpret test results, providing clear and actionable feedback to stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, providing valuable feedback on code quality and testability to enhance the overall software development process.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to facilitate their resolution and ensuring timely closure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Proactively address potential quality issues and escalate critical defects to ensure timely resolution.
• Champion QA best practices and methodologies, promoting a culture of quality and excellence across the development lifecycle.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry trends, and propose innovative solutions to enhance the QA process.
• Conduct thorough testing of data workloads, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, to verify compliance with specifications and requirements.
• Continuously improve and maintain the automation testing framework, enhancing test coverage and efficiency.
• Develop and implement automated test scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools to validate correctness of data

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, best practices, and defect management.
• 6+ years of proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer with a strong focus on test automation and data quality assurance.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with performance testing and security testing is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• A proactive and self-driven mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement and learning.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as SQL, Python, and/or Spark for test automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in developing automated test scripts using popular testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
