Reporting to one of the Technology Partners and located in the GTA, the role of Senior Manager is an integral part of our growing national advisory practice. The individual will advise public-sector clients on complex technology planning and digital transformation initiatives.

Your Opportunity
Reporting to one of the Technology Partners and located in the GTA, the role of Senior Manager is an integral part of our growing national advisory practice. The individual will advise public-sector clients on complex technology planning and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Support policy, governance, and fiscal imperatives
- Deliver technology program investments that will benefit both the public and private sectors
- Design and implement digital transformation plans for provincial, federal and municipal government operations, with a core focus on the Government of Ontario
- Collaborate closely with Technology practitioners (such as data analytics, workplace modernization, cloud services, etc.) to provide solutions that encompass strategy to execution
- Develop business opportunities with new and existing BDO clients individually and as part of cross functional pursuit team
- Take a leadership role in creating a working atmosphere that promotes learning and participate in group events and assist in the building of a team culture / environment
- Manage and develop a high-quality delivery team, working with clients to solve complex business and technology problems
- Establish strong relationships with clients at all levels of experience including leadership
- Manage multiple software or services vendors in the context of overall client project success
- Help clients to define the right technology solutions to move their strategic outcomes forward, with the goals of improving the effectiveness, efficiency and adherence to public policy imperatives
- Ensure the quality of deliverables and that clients are satisfied with the work
- Assess operational readiness for the rollout of new products and services
- Understand how IT strategies support public sector strategies and policies
- Document, re-design and implement technology related processes
- Manage an engagement team to the production of quality deliverables on time and on budget and in line with client expectations and internal standards
- Manage the end-to-end delivery (including project economics) of large-scale technology advisory and integration consulting projects comprising of multiple resources and teams
- Communicate complex material effectively in written and oral formats to various audiences
- Stay abreast of key public sector industry developments both within Canada and globally
- Develop a deep understanding of our clients’ business needs and offer technology service solutions that are right for them
- Lead pursuit teams and proposal development including innovative approaches and methodologies tailored to address specific public sector requirements.

- A proven ability to deliver quality service and to meet client expectations
- Ability to obtain government of Canada security clearance at the secret level
- Experience in anticipating and diagnosing problems that arise during projects, building and documenting solutions, drafting effective communications for clients, managing and coordinating projects
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Possesses broad-based network of public sector client relationships
- 10+ years of professional experience in management or technology consulting
- Educational credentials in business and/or related field
- Verifiable track record of achieving revenue targets through business development, managing complex projects on time and budget, and leading cross-functional teams with soft skills
- Understanding of the public sector policy and legislative framework
- Proven public sector consulting experience working with the Ontario provincial government
