Senior Java Full Stack Engineer

Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking highly qualified Full Stack engineers with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering software using agile development practices with skill combination of Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, APIs, Cloud Platforms.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
• Provide expertise in the full software development lifecycle delivering high-volume, low-latency, scalable and reliable applications.
• Strong contributor with a collaborative work style in building,?crafting,?and reviewing code.?
• Work in a team environments and mentor the junior team members.
• Honing individual engineering competency using the available enablement programs.
• Ensure design follows specifications and deliver superior engineering outcomes.

Qualifications

• Leading Planning and estimation of work items for the team.
• Strong debugging skills
• Springboot Microservices and Java8 experience.
• Rest and SOAP API’s hands on expertise
• Agile working experience.
• Knowledge of Maven Jenkins and CI/CD concepts
• Able to write SQL queries.
