Java Microservices Tech Lead Jobs

Responsible for delivering software using agile development practices with skill combination of Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, APIs, Cloud Platforms.

Springboot Microservices and Java8 experience.

Knowledge of Maven Jenkins and CI/CD concepts

Provide expertise in the full software development lifecycle delivering high-volume, low-latency, scalable and reliable applications.

Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.

Ensure design follows specifications and deliver superior engineering outcomes.

3 or more years of professional software engineering experience

Bachelors of Computer Science degree or equivalent education level

-Experience and knowledge of Salesforce.com - custom Lightning and Apex development is a plus

-Skills Experience in BioTech/Pharmaceutical industries desirable though not required

8 years Object Oriented programming experience preferably in Java

-5+ years of experience in Java SpringBoot development

-3+ years of experience with Docker containers

-Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with Cloud Data Platforms especially AWS

5+ years of hands-on experience in J2EE development.

Experience of microservice development on elastic container service platform.

Experience in design/deployment of enterprise application using OpenShift.

Hands-on experience in docker and CI/CD tools

Unit Testing experience like JUNIT

Highly proficient in Java, Spring Boot based Microservice/J2EE Design Patterns.

• Demonstrated strong programming skills and hands-on experience in Java

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering and or equivalent industry experience

• Decomposes business requirements and translates them into detailed design specifications and code

Design and develop critical data applications to support trading and risk management for a Tier 1 bank.

5- 8 years demonstrable and relevant SLDC experience.

Demonstrable experience in writing reusable, testable and efficient code with proper error and exception handling.

Experience with design and implementation of cloud-ready applications and deployment via Kubernetes / Openshift.

Experience with big data computation platforms (Flink, Spark, Apache Beam) or big data distribution platforms (Hadoop, Gemfire, Ignite)

Hands-on experience in handling various data structures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure successful project delivery.

Extensive experience in Java development, including proficiency in Java frameworks and libraries.

Proven leadership experience, with the ability to effectively guide and motivate a development team.

Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and practices.

Experience with agile development processes and working in cross-functional teams.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Provides work leadership and Mentors/coaches lower level technical staff or less experienced programmers

Provide knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.

Utilize knowledge of system flow and follow standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.

Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals.

5-8 years of relevant experience

Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business.

Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.

Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues

Design and implementation of API/ microservices and backend components

Supports production issues, includes independently completing root-cause analysis and diagnosis.

Devises new algorithms and data structures for target environment and platform attributes in alignment with architectural patterns.

·Must have 5+ years of software development experience in microservices.

·Must have 3+ years of experience in Spring Boot, and Rest API architecture

·Must have 3+ years of experience in Java 8 or above, expertise in multithreading and security frameworks

·Must have experience in developing scalable cloud services in Kubernetes

·Must have knowledge of Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift

·Must have knowledge of the Karate framework for Integration testing and automation

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Java, Restful Webservices, Spring, Springboot & micro services

• Working experience in Groovy

• Excellent knowledge in designing/building RESTful APIs

• Working experience in setting up CI/CD pipeline

• Experience in using Jenkins

• Experience using Jira/agile tools, Build tools

The application server/container configuration management and application deployment (Tomcat, Jboss, etc)

Caching - deep knowledge and experience

At least 7+ years of software development experience with 1 to 2 years in cloud development

Solid system design and code review skills in addition to hands-on skills of a Tech Lead using Java

Experience with high traffic applications and IO throughput

Experience with event streaming (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, Storm etc.)
