We are looking for an experienced Front End Engineer to work on exciting new projects to create the next evolution of our web platforms. Working on both internal and external facing applications you will be comfortable working in a dynamic DevOps/Agile environment with a motivated team.
You will collaborate on requirements/design, producing creative solutions which are visually stunning as they are effective. To apply for this role, in addition to having a technical background you must also have a track-record of working on enterprise-level applications.
Reporting To The Chapter Lead, Front End You Will

• Build rapid prototypes and work on fast paced projects.
• Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
• Ensure high-quality solutions produced through automated testing and monitoring code metric within established guidelines and time frames.
• Accurately translate requirements and UX designs into functional frontend code.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Participate in planning, design, architecture and code review.
• Produce clean, well-documented, maintainable, testable and scalable code.
• Work effectively within a cross-functional multi-site team.
• Inspire and mentor junior engineers on best practices and professional conduct.

Qualifications
You Have:

• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Good understanding of the fundamental principles of design, creative thinker & problem solver
• Experience with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Commercial experience of at least one JavaScript framework such as Vue.js or React.
• Proficient understanding of software development tools such as Git and Gitlab.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Experience in an Agile environment using Scrum.
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, CSS Pre-processors, BEM methodology and other modern CSS techniques such as Grid and Flexbox.

Preferred

• Experience with ag-Grid, amCharts and Vuetify will be considered an advantage.
• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools and systems.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Experience with TypeScript will be considered an advantage.
