Senior Electrical Engineer Jobs

Position Overview:

Our client is a growing firm in Vancouver that provides engineering services across a variety of market sectors including education, health, industrial, residential, and others. Due to growth, they are looking to add an Electrical Engineer to join their team and help build sustainable relationships through successful project delivery.

Further Responsibilities Include the Following:

• Design of power distribution, lighting and fire alarm systems.
• Prepare proposals and assist with strategic BD efforts.
• Ensure delivery of project requirements as they relate to scope, cost and schedule.
• Work cross-functionally with other disciplines.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors and other stakeholders.
• Conduct site assessments and estimates.
• Prepare drawings, engineering design, calculations, reports, and electrical specifications.
• Attend internal/ external meetings to help support all aspects of project delivery.

Ideal Candidate Experience:

• Proficient in Lighting (AGI or Dialux) calculations.
• Familiar with industry standards and international codes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in AutoCad and/or Revit.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 4+ years experience on buildings projects in Western Canada.
