Job Description
Title: Senior Director, Wealth Intelligence
Location: Remote - Canada
Reports to: Wealth Practice Leader
The Role:
The preferred candidate will blend deep industry expertise with an ability to leverage research and data to provide insights and strategic guidance to industry leaders. This individual will collaborate with J.D. Power team members and clients to guide our research, develop and deliver solutions that provide meaningful and actionable insights that support positive growth. As a trusted advisor to top executives the successful candidate will be a dynamic force for change serving to identify mission critical issues and deliver solutions that make a meaningful difference for our clients and the industry.

This agent of change will be a positive force within top organizations and for the industry more broadly. The role will enable J.D. Power to deliver industry leading thought leadership with a focus on core benchmarking studies as well as design and deliver new solutions that will elevate quality and business results for our clients. This role will be instrumental in growing our business and our brand presence in the industry and beyond. Using your knowledge and experience in the wealth management industry and customer insights & analytics you will contribute to the development of specific solutions to meet the needs of our current and future customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Expert advisor: Be the expert in the room providing a value-add perspective, that provides insights that go beyond data and establish J.D. Power as a trusted advisor to industry leaders.
  • Own the research and insights: Set the priorities and areas of focus for our research and analysis, the story we tell to our clients and guide teams efforts on critical areas for deeper analysis.
  • Grow the business: Design and deliver insights that facilitate relationship expansion with existing clients. Develop content that raises awareness and engagement in the market. Create thought leadership that elevates the position of J.D. Power in the industry and increase our credibility with senior executives / key stakeholders. Work with sales to identify key executive targets and a strategy to enable expansion of the relationship. Build relationships with key leaders, groups and influencers to drive support and advocacy in the industry.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years working within the wealth management industry either in management, in a consulting capacity to the industry, or in a sales/marketing/product role with a data intensive and analytic services theme
  • 5+ years working in a collaborative environment – from research design through communicating results to executives.
  • Bachelor's degree required, advance degree or certifications in analytics, insurance, actuarial, or in a business-related field preferred
