• DevOps Engineer will be responsible for deployment automation, simplifying self-service and creating transparency around resource utilization

• DevOps Engineer (automation) will be responsible for analysing all deployment/infrastructure related to issues in different stack, stabilizing the infra stacks across engineering and for automating the deployments and upgrade related stuff

Additional responsibilities include:

• Build and support automation for deployment of various components of the product ecosystem

• Build and support custom tools that facilitate development and QA teams

• Exposure to Integration tool like CICD Pipelines.

• Deployments and working with On Prem, Google Cloud

• Automating processes using Google APIs with the help of scripting languages (Preferably python)

• Familiarity with Java build tools – Maven, Gradle, Ant.

• Exposure in Agile/Scrum methodology with excellent debugging/troubleshooting skills.

• Application & Infrastructure Monitoring using ELK, Grafana

• Selenium, API testing and understanding Right Scale & its configurations related to Google cloud is a plus

Qualifications

About you:

Basic Qualifications:

• Software development lifecycle experience in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with Key servers, Vault, Influx, Grafana, Kibana

• Strong MySQL server knowledge on both client and server sides

• Good knowledge on containerization technologies K8s, Docker

• Experience with messaging/event streaming platforms (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka)

• Ability to write in multiple languages including Python, Java, Ruby or Bash scripting

• Knowledge on Jenkins and ability to write Jenkins Pipeline as code

• Knowledge of any configuration management tool (Chef/Puppet/Salt/Ansible or Right Scale)

• Familiarity with any of the Public Cloud providers (AWS or Google Cloud)

• Familiarity with different set of Operating System like Windows, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE Linux, etc.

• Familiarity with the OpenSSL certificates and tool chain

• Good understanding of general networking concepts (DNS, Traceroute, Load Balancing Configurations, etc.)

• Hands on development Tools - Jenkins, GIT, Jira, Confluence, VersionOne, Artifactory, Gradle, Maven

• Familiarity with the Multi tenancy systems.

• Familiarity with monitoring and Alerting tool like PagerDuty.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good to have knowledge on monitoring tools like ELK, Dynatrace and Pendo.

• Good to have experience with TeamCity pipeline automations.
