Your work environment at EXP
In this role, you will be a part of the Municipal and Transportation team, based in the Halifax office
What a day at EXP has in store for you
Contribute to the overall planning, design, and construction of a wide range of municipal and transportation infrastructure projects by:

• Preparing engineering drawings for municipal and transportation projects with AutoCAD Civil 3D;
• Preparing plan, profile, grading, surface design for water, storm, and wastewater piping, and roadways design from concept to final;
• Ensuring that the projects' needs are met in a timely and effective manner;
• Preparing presentation graphics and report figures;
• Generating material quantities and cost estimates;
• Mentor and support a team of civil technologists.
• Coordinating project drawings with project managers, technical staff, and others;
• Understanding and adhering to EXP and client standards;
• Complete site inspections of civil projects; and

Note: Stay consistent and chose between verbs ending with “ing” or simple verbs (ex. “Designing, collecting and interpreting” or “design, collect and interpret”). Active voice is preferred.
What Your Experience Looks Like

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Word, MS Excel and Autoturn; and
• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (or equivalent);
• 7+ years of relevant experience in the design and construction of municipal and transportation infrastructure (i.e. water, sanitary sewer, stormwater, roads, etc.);
• Strong work ethic and communication skills.
