Senior Business Intelligence Developer

To stay ahead of the competition, Western Glove is looking for a Senior BI Developer to join their team and help develop their business intelligence systems.

Western Glove is seeking a Senior BI Developer to work on their business intelligence systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, PowerBI, storage processes, SQL scripting, modern DB skills, cloud computing, online app processing, machine learning, and a minimum of 5-10 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the company's BI systems.

• Design and implement ETL processes using modern data warehousing techniques.

• Develop dashboards and reports using PowerBI to help visualize data for business users.

• Develop and maintain SQL scripts for data processing and analysis.

• Work with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Optimize BI solutions for performance and scalability.

• Implement and maintain data security protocols.

• Keep up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the BI field.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in business intelligence development.

• Strong skills in SQL, PowerBI, storage processes, SQL scripting, modern DB skills, cloud computing, online app processing, and machine learning.

• Solid understanding of how SQL 'used' to be stored.

• Experience working with hybrid cloud environments with databases on site.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
