Senior Bookkeeper Jobs

Our boutique accounting firm is searching a Bookkeeper for our Calgary office.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have significant experience in full-cycle bookkeeping and prior experience working directly with a diverse client base. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in a cloud-based environment and proficient supporting clients and other team members with multiple cloud applications such as QBO, Xero, Sage. You are exceptionally organized, have a strong work ethic, a collaborative approach, and an aptitude and desire to work with a well-established team. Preference will be given to candidates searching for a long-term opportunity and are passionate about working in a cloud-based bookkeeping practice. Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry and administrative duties
• Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• QBO Advanced Certification
• Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
• Assisting professional team members with questions on clients accounting software
• Assisting clients with cloud-based accounting software set-up and conversion
• Ability to prioritize instructions from multiple team members and clients Qualifications:
• 7 to 10 years' accurate full-cycle bookkeeping experience including payroll
• Check the accuracy of business transactions
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Senior level technical skills using various accounting software (i.e., QBO, QBD, Xero, Sage)
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills Responsibilities
