Position Summary

Reporting to theManager, Program Innovation and Reporting, theSenior Analyst, Operations Performanceis responsible for assisting in the design and development of quantitative models to assess operational performance. The Senior Analyst, Operations Performance is also responsible for providing subject matter expertise on operational data collection and reporting systems.TheSenior Analyst, Operations Performanceperforms all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Operational Capacity and Efficiency

·Support the development and implementation of systems and tools to support operational planning and reporting;

·Develop or assist in the development of mathematical models such as simulation or predictive models;

·Assess the impact of changes to operational systems on reporting products and tools;

·Analyze business needs to develop functional/technical designs for solutions;

·Define performance indicators to measure and report operational performance;

·Conduct ongoing performance measurement program evaluation and systematic review, assessing the relevance and validity of performance indicators as they relate to the achievement of operational objectives;

·Coordinate all Business Intelligence report requests for the Operations branch;

·Develop self-serve Business Intelligence reports;

·Support the design of performance measurement plans for operational quantitative studies and trials.

Qualifications

Essential

·Graduation with a degree from a recognized university or professional college with a specialization inmathematics, economics, computer science or a related field relevant to the duties of the position;

·Minimum of 5 years experience with data analysis, performance measurement methods, statistical concepts and reporting techniques; Experience drafting clear and concise reports and presentations with a strong attention to detail;

·Experience researching varied and complex issues from a wide array of inputs and sources and recommending solutions;

·Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications, particularly Excel, Word and Power Point;

·Demonstrated experience analyzing business issues and providing recommendations to management;

·Demonstrated ability to interpret ambiguous information and seek solutions to problems.
