Security Analyst Jobs

Responsibilities

• Drive Information Security requirements and solutions into Barclays change programmes and improve the consolidated security risk profiles for business areas.

• Provide suggestions to improve tools and processes related to GIS deliverables throughout the IT lifecycle

• Maintained up-to-date detailed knowledge of the IT security industry including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes and the development of new attacks and threat vectors. E.g. OWASP vulnerabilities, CVE, Virus bulletin etc.

• Ensured all firewalls, security devices, systems, databases and applications report authentication, authorization and accounting information data to SIEM’s.

• Monitored all in-place security solutions for efficient and appropriate operations: IPS, SIEM, Anti-virus/ Anti-malware, File integrity Monitor, Vulnerability scanner, Network Access controls.

• Reviewed logs and reports of all in-place devices, whether they be under direct control (i.e., security tools) or not (i.e., workstations, servers, network devices, etc.). Interpreted the implications of that activity and devise plans for appropriate resolution.
