Matrix is hiring multiple on-call Registered Nurses for an amazing manufacturer based in Calgary, AB.

Scope Of Duties

• Administer pre-hospital emergency care to ill or injured employees.
• Assess the extent of injuries or, industrial accident victims and other ill or injured employees to determine emergency medical treatment.
• Document and record the nature of injuries and illnesses and the treatment provided.
• Maintain emergency care equipment and supplies.
• Transport patients by air, land, or water to the hospital or other medical facilities for further medical care.
• Collaborate with ambulance dispatch centres, hospital staff, police, firefighters, and family members to ensure relevant information is collected and proper treatment is administered.
• Assist hospital personnel with the provision of medical treatment, if necessary.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed.
• Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Valid RN licenses.
• Licensing by a regulatory body is required.
