Hours: Monday to Friday; 8:30am-5:00pm
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Hybrid (Remote and Clinic on-site)

We are a national provider of workplace medical testing and assessments, with our head office based in Ayr, Ontario. We have Medical Health Clinics in Alberta (Calgary, Nisku, Edmonton, Sherwood Park, Fort McMurray) and Ontario (Kitchener, Sarnia, Mississauga), with a dedication to customer satisfaction, fast and accurate turnaround of test results, flexibility, persistence and accountability.
We are looking for a strong people and operational leader with a strategic, hands-on, results oriented leadership style for our Regional Manager of Clinics position located in Alberta. Our target candidate is passionate about the performance and development of their clinic team members and has solid business skills required to “wow” our clients and meet and exceed their expectations; someone who takes pride in the thoroughness of their work and the strong relationships they develop with their team, clients, and leaders.
The primary focus of the Regional Manager of Clinics is to manage and continuously improve the operations of the five DriverCheck Clinics in Alberta, and any future locations that may be assigned. Reporting to the Senior Clinic Manager, the Regional Manager will offer leadership and guidance to staff, while operating successfully in a very fast paced environment, and work independently on various continuous improvement projects. The Regional Manager will uphold the DriverCheck Management Expectations and appropriately embody the DriverCheck Difference.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Oversee the operations of all western DC Clinics (Alberta), working closely with the senior leadership team to navigate and support the achievement of the clinic strategic objectives
Support a team of Clinic Team Leads and their people: provide authentic and inspiring leadership and onsite guidance and mentorship for staff to assist in their growth and development
Work directly with the Team Leads to support the day-to-day operations and guide them in the management of their clinics
Set clear goals and objectives for the team to meet the expectations of DriverCheck’s high standards of service
Work in conjunction with the Senior Clinic Manager ensuring the high performance and efficient/effective daily operations of the internal clinic operations and on-site medical staffing solutions
Communication with care and professionalism to our many corporate clients
Oversee the coordination of mobile medical testing
Support the quality assurance process of all clinics
Review and compare financials for all clinics in order to determine best practices and innovations
Liaise with all departments of the company, but especially the Occupational Health Department and D&A Results Department (for example, to assist in the development and roll-out of new programs)
Work with the Digital Solutions team to enhance the functionality of our software
Oversee special projects and department initiatives
Participate in and lead client meetings
Maintain open communication with senior leaders (communicating up)
Operate and adapt successfully in a very fast paced environment
As this hybrid role oversees multiple clinics located in cities across Alberta, some travel is required. Understand that this role may require flexibility in additional hours to support the needs of staff and projects that operate outside of core office hours
What You Need To Be Successful In The Role
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience leading a business operations department
Experience guiding and motivating team members, creating a culture of respect and teamwork
Experience in the medical field is considered a competitive asset
A Registered Nurse Alberta College and Association of Registered Nurses (CARNA) or Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) is considered a competitive asset
Demonstrated clinical skills in occupational health with evidence of continued professional development considered an asset
Able to adapt to change and work collaboratively with all members of the DriverCheck team
Strong organization, delegation, project management and work effort mapping skills
Team player and client focused, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrate excellent critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills
Results oriented, strive to achieve high levels of individual and organizational performance
