Test Automation engineer (Contract role)

Number of Positions: multiple Duration: 12 months

Location: Kanata, ON, CA preferred location

Or Waterloo, ON, and or Oakville ON

Fully onsite role

must be eligible to work in Canada

RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyzing product requirements

Cross-functional collaboration with teams to design test plans and test setups for software solutions that span multiple domains.

Test Automation development

Test failure analysis

Test coverage analysis

Position Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor’s degree/ associated in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

3-5 years of software testing experience on embedded, mobile, or consumer electronic platforms

Test Automation experience in Python

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in testing embedded operating systems using Python / Slash / FordSIM (ECU model)

Experience in testing for automotive

Familiarity with Agile development processes

Experience using JIRA.

Methodical; capable of prioritizing work and working to tight deadlines.

An excellent communicator, both oral and written.
