Quality Assurance Tester Jobs

This is a remote position.

The Quality Assurance Tester will have a vital role in guaranteeing the excellence, functionality, and dependability of our products. You will collaborate closely with our development team to design automated and manual tests, pinpoint, record, and communicate defects. Based on performance, this 3-month contract opportunity can progress to a full time opportunity with us at Softworks Group.

To be considered for this role you MUST be a citizen or permanent resident of Canada

You will:

• Analyze test results to discover and report on patterns of defects
• Design and build automated and manual test scripts to match requirements
• Document the testing results and coordinate with developers as needed to communicate updates.
• Execute all phases of testing including user story tests, end-to-end testing, regression testing for new releases, and performance testing.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• A minimum of 2 years experience using an automated software testing system for browser-based applications
• Degree or diploma in IT or related field
• Intermediate SQL skills to create, refine and prepare test data
