- Reviewing QA/QC turnovers during and at the end of the project to ensure client receives quality package
- Experience in creating turnover packages
- Provide technical assistance and recommendations for proper operations, design and electrical installations.
- Assist/direct in interpreting drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to better help execute electrical installation and troubleshooting.
- Reviewing bid packages, RFIs, drawings, changes, and contracts to ensure project is completed to client specs
- Comply with the standards and safety procedures of the CDN Controls Health & Safety Manual.
- Understand and exercise basic circuit fundamentals, alternating current circuit properties, heating and cooling systems, magnetic control and switching circuits, three phase systems, transformers, machines, control and switching/PLC, industrial networking, and applications of electronics.
- Assist/direct in interpreting drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to better help execute electrical installation and troubleshooting.
- Reviewing IFC documents with estimators to find scope changes from original IFB drawings
- Be an active role model in relaying the company culture, safety and core values, supporting Apprentices and other Journeyman.
- Maintain As-built drawings.
- Be a team player and established better practices and standards for evaluating projects and ensuring CDN’s Service, Safety, and Reliability are met and or exceeded.
- Responsible for QAQC documents directly associated with the project at hand.
- Ensure all Federal, Provincial and local regulations and standards are followed.
- Experienced in testing & documenting electrical equipment such as; MCC’s, EHT, Transformers, Cables, Motors, ect.
- Excellent organizational, decision making, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Valid H2S, First Aid, AWP, Fallpro, CSTS, and CSO certificates.
- QAQC project and construction experience including experience supporting successful E&I construction projects preferable within the Oil and Gas industry
- Proficiant computer skills, including Office programs, and Bluebeam software.
- Experience in creating ITP’S, and turnover packages.
