Our client, a company that has been in business for over 70 years in the manufacturing industry, is looking for a Purchasing Clerk for its Montreal East office. You will be joining an enthusiastic team where teamwork and listening are key!

Under the supervision of the Senior Buyer, your responsibilities will be to manage the day-to-day operational activities of the department. This includes order entry, tracking, planning and inventory management. You will also have to discuss with suppliers so bilingualism is essential.

Here is what our client is offering for this position of office clerk for the purchasing department in Montreal East
Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm (paid 37.5 hours);
Salary of 45 000 and 47 000 depending on experience

Ensure the follow-up and management of the orders
Assist with the reception of merchandise
Planning of orders
Inventory management
Qualifications
2 years of administrative experience
Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken
Excellent organizational skills
Mastery of Microsoft suite including Excel
