Job Title: Lead Developer - Piloted Startup

As the Lead Developer for our innovative startup piloting with educational institutions, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our platform. You will be responsible for spearheading the development of an integrated and user-friendly platform, encompassing both backend and front end components. This platform will be designed to facilitate seamless and secure interactions for all participants involved.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Platform Architecture: Collaborate with the dev team and stakeholders to define the platform architecture and technical requirements. Design a scalable and robust system that can accommodate potential growth and adapt to evolving needs.
2. Full-Stack Development: Lead the development of both backend and frontend components of the web platform. Ensure the system is optimized for speed, responsiveness, and user experience while adhering to best practices and industry standards.
3. User-Friendly Interface: Focus on creating an intuitive and user-friendly interface for all participants, including administrators, faculty, students, and other stakeholders. Pay close attention to user experience (UX) design principles to streamline interactions and enhance usability.
4. Security and Privacy: Implement stringent security measures to protect sensitive data and maintain user privacy. Regularly conduct security audits and stay up-to-date with the latest security practices to prevent potential breaches.
5. Testing and Quality Assurance: Establish a robust testing process, including automated tests and quality assurance protocols, to identify and fix bugs and performance issues promptly.
6. Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for the platform, making it easier for future developments and onboarding of new team members.
7. Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the platform's performance to deliver a smooth and efficient experience for all users, regardless of scale.
8. Technology Research: Stay informed about the latest web development trends, frameworks, and tools. Propose and implement cutting-edge technologies that can enhance the platform's capabilities and user experience.

Qualifications:

• Experience with agile development methodologies and project management tools.
• Effective communication and leadership skills, with a passion for fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Demonstrated experience with web security best practices and data privacy standards.
• Expertise in full-stack web development, including front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) and back-end technologies (Python, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, etc.).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.(flexible)
• Proven experience as a lead developer or technical lead, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and the ability to translate them into effective design solutions.
