Opportunity Details

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Program Manager for a 12-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location

The successful candidate will be required to work on-site at the customer headquarters in Ottawa, ON, on a hybrid basis.

Security Requirement

Must be eligible for a Government of Canada Enhanced Reliability Clearance.

Key Tasks

• Plan, schedule, coordinate and manage all workstreams within the program
• Working knowledge of MS Office and project management software (e.g. Planview, MS Project, JIRA, ADO, Confluence etc.
• Define KPIs to enable performance measurement of the overall program objectives, including each individual workstreams objectives
• Anticipate difficult steps and potential bottlenecks with recommendations for action consideration and execution
• Support financial monitoring – working closely with Finance and other stakeholders as required
• Manage related activities for transitioning from existing managed services providers to a new managed services partner (managed operations and network services)
• Identify and manage risks, conduct risk analysis, identify mitigation strategies and communicate risks to all levels of governance in place
• Work closely with various stakeholders, such as; Technology Vendor Management, Procurement, Sourcing Partners, Finances and Enterprise Architecture to establish a Program Governance Framework for overseeing and reporting to senior executives
• Define KRIs to enable monitoring of risks and facilitating risk reporting
• Define the program dashboard and status reporting framework to enable reporting of key metrics for the overall program and the individual workstreams
• Establish continual communication and collaboration patterns with participating stakeholders

Key Qualifications

• Experienced in establishing KPIs, KRIs and various program measures (budget, resources, scope, schedule, risks, issues, decisions) for progress and reporting updates at all levels.
• Broad experience in managing large-scale programs; minimum of 15+ years
• Experienced in managing dependencies and constraints across the program and between workstreams

Qualifications

• Knowledge of an agile framework (i.e. Scrum, Kanban)
• Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles
