CNIB invites you to build a career as unique as you! We are currently searching for a Program Manager, Early Years Digital Literacy Project! Reporting to the Vice Presidents, this role is responsible for the oversight of a 2-year Early Years Digital Literacy Project. The primary focus of this position is to ensure the project stays on track and deliverables are met, including oversight and management of the approved budget, writing and submitting reports to the funder, flagging concerns to leadership, supervising the project coordinator and working with a cross-functional team of Child and Youth Program Leads, Early Intervention Specialists and the Manager, CNIB Next Generation. The Project Manager will maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, including CNIB team members, participants, parents, government and other community partners.


Your impact at CNIB


  • Oversee all aspects of the approved project budget; work with finance to prepare budget reports and monitor expenses.
  • Manage the roll out of the Early Years Digital Literacy Project 2 year plan.
  • Develop and foster community networks.
  • Exhibit and promote the organization’s core values empowerment, inclusiveness, passion, innovation, collaboration and integrity.
  • Manage performance of direct and indirect reports, including volunteers, through effective planning, measurement, and continuous performance management; ensure corrective performance measures are put into place when necessary.

  • Demonstrated ability to use multiple means of communication to effect change, achieve results and build a team.
  • Proven government relations and advocacy skills
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve issues showing good judgment in a timely manner.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Passion for CNIB’s mission and objectives.


We want to hear from you if you have:


  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management programs such as Salesforce an asset.
  • Proven people and project management skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Not-for-profit experience.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365 software.
  • Commitment to and demonstrated success in program development and delivery, stakeholder and community relations, and human resources management.

  • Willingness to work flexible and non-regular hours to complete work.
  • Professional, fast-paced, high-energy, results-oriented, challenging, dynamic, growing, and evolving environment.
  • Occasional travel within the province.
