About This Team
This role is in the Global Product Technology team in the lululemon technology organization. The team is responsible for system reliability engineering, incident management and operations to ensure the right product is available at the right location and at right time.
a Day In The Life
The ideal candidate will have a history of demonstrated results leading mid-size to large cross-functional Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning teams to deliver business values and thought leadership across matrixed organizations. They must thrive in fast-paced environments, be able to manage through ambiguity and complexity, create and simplify processes, and simultaneously support multiple projects impacting a growing global organization. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work closely with internal technical teams as well as different facets of the lululemon enterprise.
  • Build network within/outside of organization boundary to “think big” with growth in mind.
  • Lead project managers to plan, organize, deliver, and maintain complex data-driven ML projects.
  • Observe and manage key risks of program delivery and escalate to corresponding stakeholders.
  • Determine resource needs, assigning tasks and responsibilities to project teams, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to ensure solutions meet expectation and business goals.
  • Effectively plan, manage, and deliver technology programs within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Utilize program management tools, methods, and best practices to assemble program plans.
  • Coordinate with cross-program portfolio teams to identify new scope to translate into PI goals.
  • Actively research and learn new technologies in ever-changing AI/ML environment.
  • Engage in PM and BSA community to establish program best practices to meet all project team needs.
Qualifications
  • Experience in agile/enterprise tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Zoom, MS Teams.
  • SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) for Teams a very nice to have.
  • 2+ years in data science/machine learning team management.
  • Strong communication skills: both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional leadership skills to bring everyone together to achieve goals.
  • 8+ years in technology; master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience in planning and demand forecasting a bonus.
  • Retail experience with knowledge in enterprise systems.
  • Strong skills in Agile and facilitating experience of scrum events within team and program.
  • 5+ years of project/program management experience.
  • Strong cloud technology background: AWS preferred.
