Production Worker/Sandblasting Assistant - With Opportunities To Grow.

About The Position

This position requires attention to detail, understanding of production flow, and willingness to learn and follow proper techniques.

The successful candidate will be provided with the necessary training.

Duties

• Carefully package finished goods for safe transportation.
• Assist Shipper with loading and unloading delivery trucks as required.
• Inspect pieces for proper cleanliness before blasting.
• Solve unique racking and staging challenges of clean customer goods for production.
• Prepare parts for blasting as per work instructions.
• Attend and contribute to production huddles, safety meetings, and training as required.
• Assist with other duties on the shop floor as required.
• Assist the Lead Sand Blaster with the transport of goods through the shop.
• Sand Blasting as required.
• Open communication to keep production flowing.
• Safe and effective use of orbital sanders, air guns, and other production-related tools.

Qualifications

• Capable of reading and writing in English.
• Effective at time management.
• Prior forklift experience is an asset.
• Actively engage in problem-solving, not problem naming.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow a process to completion.
• Able to safely lift to 50lbs.
