--- Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory Technician ---

We are an expanding company in the agricultural industry and are excited to recruit outstanding candidates to join our motivated and energetic team.

The Successful Candidate will be responsible for performing plant tissue culture procedures while using aseptic techniques in laminar flow benches and ensuring the cleanliness and efficient workflow of the laboratory.

Qualified individuals must be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to follow instructions and perform repetitive tasks is of great importance for this position.

Regular Duties:

• Micro-propagating selected cultivars and varieties using the aseptic technique.
• Operating and maintaining laminar flow hood
• Maintain cleanliness and laboratory procedures for sterilization.
• Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) comprehension and adhesion.
• Excellent Good Documentation Practice
• Meticulous and able to follow instructions
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications :

• Fast learner and ability to follow instructions
• Detail-oriented
• Experience in the laboratory especially in plant tissue culture and agriculture is an asset
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and able to sit and stand for long hours
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $17-19

Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday | 7:00 am To 5:30 pm
