We are an expanding company in the agricultural industry and are excited to recruit wonderful candidates to join our motivated and energetic team.

The Successful Candidate will be responsible for performing plant tissue culture procedures while using aseptic techniques in laminar flow benches and ensuring the cleanliness and efficient workflow of the laboratory.

Qualified individuals must be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to follow instructions and perform repetitive tasks are of great importance for this position.

Regular Duties:

• Excellent Good Documentation Practice
• Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) comprehension and adhesion.
• Meticulous and able to follow instructions
• Maintain cleanliness and laboratory procedures for sterilization.
• Micro-propagating selected cultivars and varieties using the aseptic technique.
• Operating and maintaining laminar flow hood
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications :

• Experience in the laboratory especially in plant tissue culture and agriculture is an asset
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and able to sit and stand for long hours
• Detail-oriented
• Fast learner and ability to follow instructions

Shifts: Monday to Thursday

Must have own transportation, location is rural and not accessible by public transit.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $17 - $19/ hour
