Production Assembler Jobs

• Steel-Toed boots/shoes preferred!
• Overtime available - but will be voluntary with notice to worker

Responsibilities

Ï Produces components and various assemblies (locks, solar panels, kiosks, etc.) by following assembly instructions and using hand tools or machines to assemble and test components

Ï Supports production line readiness by verifying the inventory levels of the production lines, helping maintain tooling requirements, and organizing work spaces

Ï Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Ï When required, conducts quality control checks by performing visual inspection of the parts received for the assembly line as well as mechanical testing of new parts

Ï Maintains quality control on the assembly line by verifying specifications of components and, if needed, reporting defects to appropriate parties and following up on defective parts

Ï Documents actions by completing production and quality forms

Requirements

Ï High school diploma

Ï Minimum 6 Months Previous Manufacturing Experience

Ï Fluent in French - both written and oral; bonus points for English skills

Ï Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Ï Safety and quality control focused with respect for processes

Ï Ability to read and understand plans and simple instructions

Ï Good manual dexterity including the ability to handle various hand tools

Ï Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in environments where work is performed sitting down or standing for extended periods of time

Ï Punctuality and good work attendance are a must
