WHAT IMPACT CAN A PRODUCER HAVE AT ESG?

East Side Games’ Producer is responsible for the development of our newest tier 1 IP based game. You will provide leadership and support to a multidisciplinary team and work with a top studio development partner on our unannounced title. You are accountable for identifying and escalating issues and working with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution. You must love solving problems and getting things done, oh and working with some of the coolest folks in the biz!

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Ambassador who exhibits unflinching devotion to the general well being of the team and the game(s).
• Communicate the health and status of the development project to stakeholders on an ongoing basis; engage with the team leadership to keep them informed of blockers, risks and issues.
• Managing the game development process from Concept to WorldWide Launch and beyond, into Live Operations (2 year development minimum).
• Has the ability to effectively communicate across all levels and can elegantly synthesize information into integral, succinct bites for the C-suite.
• Working with an external partner studio to manage, review & set a high quality bar for milestone deliverables and project plan.
• Handles escalations & team conflict with no involvement from Directors and provides guidance for the production team.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Excellent writing, verbal communication, and task management skills.
• Strong knowledge & experience of production methodologies including, but not limited to Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Kanban.
• Superb ability to collaborate, problem solve, and build consensus.
• Strong sense of urgency; willing to roll up the sleeves and jump right in to get things done.
• Previous experience leading a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong understanding of Atlassian products (both Jira and Confluence).
• Excellent listener and relationship builder; strong stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to make informed decisions by leveraging metrics, SMEs, OKRs, and other resources.
• 5+ years of experience as a Producer in mobile games. Bonus points for Publisher experience.
• A strategic thinker who can balance between short-term and long-term priorities.
• Demonstrated and strong mobile game industry experience, especially IDLE genre and deep knowledge of industry trends, competitors and best practices.
• Extreme organization and professionalism with the ability to ruthlessly prioritize, keep multidisciplinary teams and members on track and escalate effectively.
