Procurement Manager Jobs

Reporting to the Director of Procurement, the Procurement Manager, Operations is accountable to provide leadership to support procurement operational excellence for corporate head office, corporate divisions, operations, SGP teams and external SGP members.

This position will be located at our Head Office in Markham, Ontario and will have flexibility for both remote and in-office work based on our hybrid work model.

Accountabilities

• Ensure that all SGP contracts managed are appropriately negotiated and meets SGP strategic goals following contracting SOP and procurement policy guidelines
• Using spend data, monitor communities spend performance to determine compliance to corporate brand standards or corporate preferred vendors and work collaboratively with communities and operations to meet corporate standards requirements using dashboards, benchmarking and KPIs.
• Manages bids documents like RFP, RFQ, and RFIs and prepare bid summaries to analyze RFx’s.
• Develop SOP and tools to support procurement onboarding process with the goal of having a seamless transition resulting in creating a positive experience for individuals being onboarded.
• Onboard new acquisitions and new builds to corporate procurement policy and procedures working with operations and corporate divisions.
• Provide all procurement related integration support for new communities as the company grows through acquisitions, development and expansion of management and procurement services.
• Assist in the development of corporate brand standards and managed order guides

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum three years of experience in operations in senior living communities is a requirement.
• Excellent customer service orientation and must be highly detailed oriented
• Minimum five years of experience in a manager role related to indirect purchasing in a corporate environment, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Completion of a University Degree or College program with emphasis on business or procurement or accounting in Business Administration
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and the Healthcare and Government Funding.
