Job Title: Primary School Teacher Assistant 🧑🏫

We are seeking an experienced Teaching assistant with experience supporting children with SEND. This role will involve working in a mainstream school setting assisting children on a 1:1, group or general setting. The responsibilities will vary on depending on what the schoola re looking for at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
• Provide individualized support to students, including those with diverse learning needs.
• Support the primary school teaching team in delivering engaging and well-planned lessons.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to prepare learning materials and resources.
• Help maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Support students during activities, assignments, and assessments.
• Help implement various teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles.
• Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents/guardians, and other staff members.

Requirements:

• Adaptability, flexibility, and a collaborative approach.
• Experience working with children in a primary school setting.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting students' learning and well-being.
• Previous expereince working with children with SEND.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with the primary school curriculum and teaching methods.
• Commitment to professional development and learning.
• Relevant qualifications or training in education or a related field preferred.
