Job Title: Primary School Teacher Assistant 🧑🏫

We are seeking a dedicated and supportive Primary School Teacher Assistant SEN experience to supports schools around Romford and surrounding areas. You will play a vital role in assisting the primary school teaching team, creating a positive engaging environment for children with and without SEND and supporting them in the class and with work set out by the teacher.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Support the primary school teaching team in delivering engaging and well-planned lessons.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to prepare learning materials and resources.
• Provide individualized support to students, including those with diverse learning needs.
• Support students during activities, assignments, and assessments.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents/guardians, and other staff members.
• Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
• Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Help implement various teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles.

Requirements:

• Previous expereince working with children with SEND.
• Relevant qualifications or training in education or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with children in a primary school setting.
• Familiarity with the primary school curriculum and teaching methods.
• Adaptability, flexibility, and a collaborative approach.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting students' learning and well-being.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to professional development and learning.
