BIOVECTRA Inc. has an immediate opening for a Power Engineer.This is a permanent, full-time position located inWindsor, Nova Scotia.
The Candidate Will Be Responsible For

• Writing and revising preventative maintenance records for the equipment and utilities.
• Working shift work and on call as required.
• Assisting in the commissioning and qualification of equipment and utilities.
• Additional duties assigned, based on business needs and the department supervisor’s request.
• Responsible for all utility services, purified water system and tank farm, including completions of all necessary logs for power boiler permits.
• Adhering to BIOVECTRA's Health and Safety Policy and ensure a safe work environment for employees and contractors.
• Performing troubleshooting and diagnostic repairs on process and research equipment.
• Providing quick and innovative solutions to equipment and process malfunctions.
• Adhering to BIOVECTRA’s Standard Operating Procedures.
• Performing maintenance and calibration tasks as required on equipment and utilities & update Blue Mountain software as tasks are completed.
• Providing corrective and predictive maintenance on industrial process and research equipment in a production environment.

The Successful Candidate For This Position Should Have

• One years’ experience working in a chemical manufacturing facility in the operation, maintenance, and repair of complex building systems.
• Electromechanical Technology diploma or equivalent would be an asset.
• 3 rd or 4 th Class Power Engineer's license.
